About Aperol

Created in 1919, Aperol is maybe the most famous aperitivo made from seven years of experimentation.

 

The Goal

To encourage Aperol brand engagement and trial in the comfort of the consumers’ home when the customer is receptive and free from distraction. Targeting young, urban, affluent, food and drink lovers.

 

The Strategy

In 2020 Relish facilitated a partnership between Aperol and takeaway delivery partners; placing 40,000 samples in and around the London/Manchester area. The sample box included 2x Aperol miniatures (50ml), 1x Fever Tree Soda (200ml) and 1x Mionetto Prosecco.

 

The Outcome

This partnership involved over 300 restaurants who placed samples directly into orders, which were then delivered by takeaway delivery partners pre-Christmas and dispatched throughout December. The samples reached 33,102 recipients.
