About Yorkshire Tea

Taylor’s of Harrogate are a family business that was founded in 1886 and have a long history of blending tea and roasting coffee and remain family owned to this day. Yorkshire Tea, created in 1977 remains true to their love of fairness, flavour and quality. So much so, that Yorkshire Tea are now working towards a NetZero approach. As well as many other initiatives at home and across the globe that hope to make a positive difference.

Almost 150 years later, they are still completely and utterly devoted to the art of tea and have since 2019 have been the best selling and market leader in standard black tea in the UK.

The Goals

Yorkshire Tea wanted to drive awareness of their Great Taste award winning decaf tea, which looks and tastes just like normal tea.

The team were keen to connect with consumers at prime time to be receptive to these “tea moments”, with a focus on health and wellbeing, balancing or avoiding caffeine consumption or even just a cosy cup before bed!

The Strategy

Relish facilitated partnerships with a broad spectrum of retailers for this campaign, with an audience that would likely align with relaxation, self-care and general wellbeing. We distributed 110,000 Yorkshire Tea Decaf sample packs via multiple book retailers, Face the Future, an online beauty e-commerce retailer, and Mindful Chef.
