About Clinique

Clinique are a luxury skincare brand, suited for everyone. Grounded in the latest science, Clinique want to build a better world for skin to live in.

Perhaps their most famous product line; Moisture Surge has a product perfect suited to all ages and skin types.


The Goals

As an NPD, the sampling campaign was activated and samples were placed in ASOS parcels as soon as the Clinique Moisture Surge 100 Hour moisturiser was launched on site. This would result is raised awareness of the new product and ultimately encourage purchasing via the ASOS site.


The Strategy

Relish facilitated the campaign from start to finish. Supporting with creatives and artwork, print and fulfilment of the samples themselves, alongside delivering them to ASOS warehouse to be distributed in line with the NPD launch date.

We also executed a post-sample insights survey using our Try.Love.Buy platform to gain previously unavailable campaign data.


The Outcome

70.4% loved their sample!

81% of Clinique sample recipients are likely to purchase

82% said they were likely/very likely to repurchase the full size product.

43% said their opinion of the brand changed as a result of receiving the sample.

57% said their opinion of Clinique didn’t change. Type in responses indicate this is because they already held Clinique in high regard before receiving the sample.

“It’s super light so feels lovely on the skin. I put it on in the evening and woke up with super bright and hydrated skin – impressed!”
